Consumers need to switch to save money on broadband
According to a recent report many consumers are still wasting hundreds of pounds a year on unnecessary broadband costs, despite the fact that many are struggling financially.

In the current financial climate there are many people who are struggling to make ends meet financially, with many having had their pay frozen and facing rocketing costs in terms of essentials such as food, petrol and household bills. However, despite the financial hardship many families are facing a huge number are still said to be paying far more than they need to for their broadband and related services.
According to a recent report many consumers are wasting hundreds of pounds each year unnecessarily on paying for broadband plans that are too costly. It is claimed that by simply switching their plan or provider, and perhaps even considering a bundle deal rather than individual services, consumers could save a lot of money on their cost of their broadband and related services.
Research was carried out by a comaparison site and suggested that consumers in the UK were collectively spending around £2.7 billion more than they needed to each year on internet services, which equated to £140 each per year. Eight thousand consumers were polled as part of the survey and one quarter were found to have never switched their service since signing up to broadband.
