According to their new research, Consumer Broadband Adoption Trends, people are using broadband technology on a daily basis because of the value it brings to their lives.

In a survey where 27,086 residents across the United States participated, they analyzed how they access broadband use it. They also surveyed the people who were not using broadband and figured out the reasons behind it.

“We estimate that approximately 80.9 million adults nationwide do not have home broadband service, and adoption varies significantly across socioeconomic lines,” they observed.

In addition to this, they also launched 2011 residential survey interactive online platforms across multiple states.
