Broadband users need to shop around for bundle deals
An industry expert has recently stated that broadband users in the UK who want to opt for a bundle deal need to ensure that they shop around as not all bundle deals from the various providers are the same.
Over recent years bundled broadband deals from Internet providers have become increasingly popular amongst consumers, with many users wishing to save themselves money and enjoy increased convenience by taking their broadband, landline, and television service as part of one bundle from one single provider rather than having the hassle and expense of taking the various services out individually with separate providers.
However, whilst consumers have managed to make savings by opting for bundle deals rather than individual services many appear to assume that the cost and quality of bundle deals from the different providers will be pretty much the same. As a result of this assumption many consumers are failing to shop around when it comes to looking for bundled services, and this could be costing them money that they would otherwise not have to pay.
An industry expert from the consumer campaign group Which? said that it was vital that consumer did not assume that bundled deals would all be the same from different providers, and that they took the time to shop around and compare deals and prices from a number of different Internet service providers in order to find the most suitable deal at the most affordable price.
The Which? spokesperson said: “Don’t assume that all providers are the same. Which? also carries out regular surveys into home phone services and phone/broadband and TV bundles and has found that costs and customer service can be very variable.”
