Broadband bundles could save consumers bundles
Another recent report has suggested that many people are missing out on big savings on their broadband, television, and phone services by failing to bundle them into one package from a single provider.
Another report that was released recently has suggested that there are many people in the UK that are wasting money each year on their broadband, phone, and television services because they are failing to look out for low cost bundles and instead are taking and paying for these services individually through separate providers.
The report claims that close to half of consumers in the UK are not taking advantage of the discounts available to them through low cost bundles that combine services such as broadband, television, and phone. The Communications Market Report from Ofcom showed that forty seven percent of UK consumers were failing to bundle their services in this way.
The communications regulator claims that some households in the UK could save around one hundred and forty pounds a year by bundling their services into one package from the same provider. The regulator also said that in addition to saving money on these services some consumers would find it more convenient to have their services bundled by a single provider.
However, Ofcom also stated that consumers need to weigh up the cost of bundles against individual services depending on their needs, and also to bear in mind that when taking out a bundle deal that they may have to sign up to a fairly lengthy contract.
