Installation and business services company Avonline Plc has announced that it is extending an offer designed to make home satellite broadband more affordable for customers.

It was recently announced by the installation and business services company Avonline Plc that it was looking to make satellite home broadband more affordable for consumers by allowing the upfront installation fees to be paid in instalments rather than all at once. It is thought that one of the main barriers to the mainstream take up of satellite broadband is the high upfront fees that consumers face for installation of the system.

Avonline Plc launched a special offer where customers could pay just one hundred and seventy five pounds to get the satellite broadband hardware installed, and then pay a further three instalments of one hundred and seventy five pounds, saving hem the financial strain of having to find the whole fee before the hardware is installed.

Officials from Avonline have said that the offer has proven extremely popular, and as a result of this it has decided to extend the offer until Easter, enabling more people to benefit from satellite broadband without having to find a huge sum of money upfront. The company has said that this extended offer will help to ensure that more people have the opportunity to benefit from satellite broadband without crippling themselves financially.

One Avonline official stated: ” We’ve have seen a 25% increase in enquiries and a 100% increase in orders of our Tooway product since we announced the special offer at the beginning of the month. Customers are telling us that allowing them to spread the hardware and install costs over 12 months makes broadband in areas where they have an unreliable or slow service, or no service at all, more affordable. For this reason we have decided to extend the deal until Easter so that more customers have the opportunity to take advantage of this unique offer”.
