2010 Deloitte Technology Fast 50 shows Cambridge broadband network as 36th for fastest growing tech company

The latest results from the 2010 Deloitte Technology Fast 50, which provides a ranking for the 50 technology companies in the UK that are showing the fastest growth, has ranked Cambridge Broadband Networks in 36th place according to the wireless equipment company.

The company’s revenue growth of 864 percent over the last five years has been credited to its geographical reach across the EMEA region that has allowed for the roll-out of fledgling mobile networks in the emerging markets, by the CFO of Cambridge Broadband Networks, Peter Welch

He advised “The strong and accelerated demand for mobile data services is driving growth for new technologies to meet that demand. Cambridge Broadband Network’s VectaStar solutions are now being widely deployed by operators throughout the world and we expect those deployments to expand considerably. For a 10 year old company, to hit revenue growth of 864% over five years is not only a phenomenal achievement but pays testament to our commitment to technology development.”

With both the software and mobile technology sectors showing considerable strength the Deloitte Fast 50 shows that it is still possible to achieve incredible growth rates even in the challenging financial market conditions currently being faced.
