This Christmas could see families missing £285 because of the digital divide
Research from a major internet service provider has shown that many families can save a fortune over the Christmas period just by shopping online and can even get a great deal on one of their broadband packages.
Shopper in the UK are being urged by Be Broadband to make the most of the savings that can be found as a broadband user, and from a normal shopping list for Christmas a typical family can make savings of £285 or more.
The great savings that many families with access to broadband can make by combining shopping on the internet with the cash-back offers that are being offered by major retailer more than 32 percent could be saved in the run up to Christmas by many families. This will be especially handy with the expectation that most families will be looking to cut back on their spending this year.

The research from Be has provided examples of the available savings, like GPS satellite navigation systems being offered with £50 off and designer watches with an incredible 75 percent saving.
Be broadband conducted the savings research to coincide with its Be broadband promotion launch on Quidco.com in which customers who opt to buy the Be Value service will be able to get connection for free and save as much as £76 as well. The research that Be carried out to find the best discounts and cash-back offers available on items that customer were most likely to look for was performed by searching on the Quidco.com website.

With online shopping you’ll quickly find massive discounts from respected retailers online. Our customers tell us that high-speed is great for multimedia and gaming, but these figures show it can replace the high street as well.”
