Customers of the broadband internet provider Be Broadband are to be given access to discounted online storage facilities, which they can then access from any PC with a web browser.

For many consumers being away from their home or office base means that they are unable to access important files and information from their PC, which can be a real problem, especially for those that need to access information for business purposes. However, customers of Be Broadband could soon be enjoying an affordable solution to this problem, with the broadband provider offering its customers online storage facilities at a discounted price.

According to a recent report Be Broadband has partnered with Livedrive in order to make this offering to its customers. Through the online storage facility customers will be able to store files from their PC, which they will then be able to access whilst out and about from any PC with a web browser. This will prove an invaluable service for many customers who spent time away from their base.

The customers that want to use the service will have a virtual drive added to their PC, and they will then be able to drag their selected files into this and will be able to access them whilst away from their PC. The great news is that Be Broadband customers can get an impressive thirty five percent off the cost of the Livedrive service.

An official from Be Broadband said: “Livedrive’s storage capabilities mean that they’ll [Be customers] be able to access all of the offline content they have and store it in the cloud. It’s these kind of services that break down the barriers between online and offline and lets BE members ‘Create the New’ wherever they are.”
