BE produces guides on improving broadband speeds

Internet and communications giant BE Broadband has produced a number of guides for consumers that could help them to improve their broadband internet speeds.

The issue over internet speeds is one that is very important to most broadband users, but there are a number of factors that can affect a user’s internet speeds. Even if the service provider advertises an impressive speed most people do not achieve this headline speed due to the range of factors that can affect the speed that they actually get as opposed to the speed that they could get.

One broadband service provider, BE Broadband, has decided to do something to help customers that want to improve their broadband speeds, and with this in mind has created a number of valuable guides that could help users to improve their internet connection speeds. The guides re called the ‘Matt’s House’ guides, and are available to consumers via PDF or as short videos.

According to BE Broadband some measures can be taken to improve internet connection speeds without the need for the user to have any technical knowledge or expertise, and this could then make a difference to the speed that the user is able to achieve, enabling them to enjoy faster, more efficient broadband connections.

BE’s Forum manager Matt was the inspiration behind the guide, hence the name of the guides. He also stars in the videos. BE Broadband said: “Based on customer queries in the provider’s online support forum, he asked for more interesting way to show members how simple tweaks can dramatically improve the speed of a broadband connection.”
