BE Broadband ready to launch bonded higher speed broadband service
Popular broadband provider BE has announced that it is now ready to launch its bonded broadband service, which could given consumers access to broadband speeds of up to 40Mbps.
Adequate speeds are a very important consideration for many people that are looking to sign up to broadband services, and this is why broadband providers are always trying to do their best to provide faster speeds than their competitors in order to try and stay a step ahead of their rivals. One leading broadband provider has now announced the launch of a bonded broadband service that could provide access to speeds of up to 40Mbps.
BE Broadband has announced that it is now ready to launch its bonded broadband service, which it has been trialling for some time. It is thought that the service could be launched next month, and customers could start looking forward to faster speeds of up to 40Mbps although there may be some initial teething problems according to officials from BE Broadband.
On the company blog one official from the broadband giant stated: “It’s significantly more complicated to get line bonding running compared to a single connection. That’s why we are going softly softly when we launch.” The product will be made available to a limited number of BE Broadband Pro package customers to start with. However, if it all runs smoothly the service will eventually be rolled out to regular BE Broadband customers.
He also said that the technology had not been cheap to implement, and this is reflected in the price. He stated on the blog: “It’s taking quite a lot of overhead and resource to bring the product out which is reflected in the price. We think the connection fee will be around £85 and the discounted cost for existing members around £50-55 per month.”
