BE Broadband launched Bonding service to boost speed
It has been announced that Internet Service Provider, BE Broadband, has launched a new Line Bonding service which could provide faster speeds for millions of homes in the UK.

According to recent reports the UK Internet provider BE Broadband has launched an innovative Line Bonding service that could see many people being able to access faster broadband speeds. Both residents and businesses could benefit from the innovative technology by enjoying better broadband speeds as a result of the Line Bonding.
Reports claim that the Line Bonding service from BE Broadband could double the speed that many households and businesses are receiving, effectively providing them with speeds of up to 44Mbps for downloads and 5Mbps for uploads. BE has stated that its decision to launch this technology came from demands for faster broadband speeds.
The UK’s communications regulator Ofcom has stated that the maximum download speeds for customers that are 1 km away from their exchange is 20Mbps. This means that BE customers that are currently 1 km away from the exchange and are receiving 20Mbps from the provider could start enjoying speeds of 40Mbps as a result of the Line Bonding technology.
Head of Marketing at BE Broadband, Alex Gowar, said: “As only half of the UK population have access to fibre currently, BE’s Line Bonding product is a real viable alternative. But Line Bonding is not only great for BE customers who want fibre speeds, but it could also be life changing for the millions of UK customers who suffer slower speeds because they live a long way from the exchange. It’s all part of our ‘Real World Speed’ proposition and our desire to help customers achieve the fastest speeds possible that their line can handle.”
