Which? names and shames broadband providers
Consumer campaign group Which? has recently released its broadband survey results, and has named and shamed several big name providers for low levels of customer satisfaction.
Results were recently released by the consumer campaign group and watchdog Which? following a broadband satisfaction survey that it carried out. In its report on the outcome of the survey the consumer group named and shamed a handful of big name broadband providers for their failure to satisfy customers. This came after the providers received a low overall score.
The three providers that have been failing to keep customers happy according to the respondents of the Which? survey are AOL, Orange, and Opal – the latter is part of the Talk Talk group. Overall scores for all three of these broadband giants was less than forty percent, and all were awarded only one star out of five for their levels of customer service.
The survey was aimed at rating providers of broadband services based on a number of factors, such as customer service levels, reliability of connection, broadband speeds, and value for money offered. The consumer group has now released satisfaction ratings for twenty six broadband providers based on survey results, making it easier for consumers to choose the right broadband provider.
The survey involved polling nearly ten thousand Which? panel members over the months of June and July, and the responses were then collated to determine the level of satisfaction with different areas of the broadband service as well as with the overall service and quality provided by the various broadband providers being rated.
