A new portal that will allow users to buy items at the best possible prices when online shopping through hundred of leading retailers in the UK has recently been announced by the popular broadband service provider AOL.
With the aim of giving broadband users another way of getting the products they want at a more affordable price when shopping online, broadband service provider AOL has announced that it has launched a new web portal.
Any users who are searching for a way to beat the continuing effects of the current recession by choosing their purchases more carefully will now have the option of the Discount Codes website, said the company, which is easy to navigate and can be found at discount-codes.aol.co.uk.
This new site will provide users with a way to locate products through AOL Shopping that “hundreds of the UK’s leading retailers” have put on at discounted rates, and will also give them the listings for all the latest voucher codes.
The reasoning behind this new website was that during this period of heightened awareness of the economy discount code had become increasingly popular according to Sean O’Connell, the director of shopping at AOL Europe, who made the comment at the launch.
O’Connell said “Our users told us they were looking for a simple, high quality and – most importantly – reliable guide to world of discount codes. Our mission in shopping is to connect people to great products and we’re excited to add discount codes to this experience.”
AOL will be teaming up with vouchercodes.co.uk as part of this new site launch and according to Duncan Jennings, its founder, the partnership will offer the public “incredible savings” and will help to build relationships with many retailers.
The launch of a UK version of the ParentDish site, which provide very popular in the US with parents, was also announced recently by AOL.
