4G iPhone rumours reinforced by job advertisement
Over recent weeks there has been a lot of speculation and rumour over whether manufacturing giant Apple is bringing out a 4G version of its iPhone this summer, and these rumours have now been reinforced by a job advertisement that was placed by the company.
Over the last couple of years the Apple iPhone has become increasingly popular around the world, and has managed to maintain a leading position when it comes to smart phone technology. Apple has already improved its iPhone offering by bringing out the iPhone 3GS for those that want to upgrade from the Apple iPhone 3G, and lately there have been rumours and speculation that the manufacturing giant was set to bring out a 4G version of its iPhone.
Whilst mobile broadband and smart phone users have found 3G technology adequate, the rising use of these networks means that 3G is now coming under increased strain, making it important for 4G technology to be deployed as soon as possible. It appears, based on these rumours, that Apple is looking to include 4G capabilities in its next iPhone model, although the company has not yet confirmed this.
However, the rumours and speculation over the 4G iPhone have been reinforced by a recent advertisement that was placed by Apple. In the advertisement Apple said that it was looking for a Cellular Technology Software Manager who had ‘Expert knowledge of one or multiple cellular technologies: WCDMA/UMTS, HSPA, HSPA+, LTE etc.’
Whilst this has only raised speculation over the fact that Apple may be bringing out a 4G enabled version of its hugely popular smart phone over the coming months, added to other reports and clues it seems that the 4G iPhone could indeed be hitting the shelves over the course of this year.
