Customers that have an account with the mobile broadband operator 3 can now enjoy free access to the social blogging website Twitter as part of their deal.
Over recent years social networking and blogging websites have become more and more popular, and websites such as Twitter have the honour of having fans ranging from the normal everyday consumer to well known celebrities such as Ashton Kutcher and Stephen Fry. Recently the mobile network provider 3 has announced some good news for mobile customers that enjoy using these sites.
According to recent reports customers that are signed up to 3 accounts can now enjoy free access to the social micro-blogging website Twitter. The service will be made available to customers for free throughout the months of February and March of this year.
Charlotte Blanchard, director of products and services at 3, said that the 3G network that was used by the mobile provider was designed for the likes of social networking sites such as Twitter. She said: “We want to make the internet as easy and affordable to use on your mobile as on your PC.”
The mobile network provider is now urging its mobile customers to Twitter for free through the use of its services, and this provides yet another incentive for mobile customers to enjoy. An increasing number of consumers are now using sites such as Twitter and other social networking sites, making them popular incentives from mobile providers that want to attract more custom. The provider also recently activated its one hundred thousandth site in London, providing more coverage for mobile customers.
