Three MiFi could be ideal for WiFi iPad users
Following the release of the Apple iPad in the UK mobile network provider 3 has stated that its MiFi 3G access device could be perfect for those that want to buy the cheaper WiFi only models.
The recent launch of the Apple iPad in the UK has caused excitement amongst gadget lovers, with many having waited patiently to get their hands on one of these devices from the creator of the hugely popular iPhone. Consumers have a choice of iPad options available to them including 3G enabled iPads and WiFi only enabled iPad models.
Many consumers are on a budget these days, and many may not be able to stretch to the 3G enabled version of the iPad, which costs significantly more than its WiFi only counterpart. However, mobile network provider 3 has reminded consumers that if they want to save money on the purchase of an iPad by going for the WiFi only option rather than the 3G version then its MiFi 3G access device could prove ideal.
For those that go for the cheaper WiFi only iPad the MiFi access point from 3 will allow them to connect up to five internet enabled devices, which is ideal for households where there are several iPads or other internet enabled devices. The pocket sized MiFi access point fits into the pocket and is therefore easily transportable.
An official from 3 said: “MiFi makes connected devices such as tablets truly mobile and allows our customers to connect to the internet wherever they are. Three’s network is designed to give our customers the very best experience of the mobile internet. We currently have the biggest 3G network in the UK and are working hard on making it even bigger, better and faster than before.”
