Mobile communications giant 3 is following in the footsteps of some of its rival providers with the launch of a new SIM based mobile broadband package that offers increased flexibility for consumers.

Many consumers want to join the mobile broadband revolution in order to benefit from increased ease, convenience, and flexibility when going online, but in the current financial climate do not want to commit themselves by having to sign up for long contract periods. This is something that mobile broadband providers have recognised, and as such as introduced alternative plans to cater for those that do not wish to sign up to a lengthy contract.

It has recently been announced that 3 mobile broadband is following in the footsteps of some of its rival providers by launching a SIM based monthly contract mobile broadband package, which offers increased flexibility for those that do not want to be tied into a contract for a long period of time. The new package from 3 in the Broadband 5GB 1 Month package, which could prove popular amongst many consumers.

Consumers that sign up to the deal will pay £15 per month for a mobile broadband SIM, which comes with 5GB data allowance. This allowance will allow for around fifty hours of surfing time or the sending of around five thousand emails. The contract is a monthly one, and consumers can cancel with just thirty days notice or can roll the contract on month by month depending on what they wish to do.

The plan can be purchased with a USB modem for those that do not have an existing dongle, or can be used with an existing dongle or a broadband embedded laptop. Officials from 3 have said that the plan is well suited to those that prefer a month by month contract rather than having to be tied in for twelve, eighteen, or even twenty four months.
