Mobile network operator and broadband provider 3 UK has claimed that it is offering a dongle that provides high speed mobile broadband capabilities that are up to forty percent faster than other dongles.

For users of mobile Internet and broadband services having access to reasonable speeds it important and many base their choice of plan or provider on the types of speeds that are made available. Providers are facing stiff competition from one another when it comes to mobile broadband and are therefore keen to offer suitably high speeds to users.

According to officials from 3 UK the company is offering a mobile broadband dongle that offers high speed mobile broadband capabilities that are up to forty percent faster than speeds offered by other dongles. This is on its Huawei E367 dongle, which is based on HSPA+ technology. The company said that this dongle was its fastest one and that the use of the “latest HSPA+ technology” made it possible to offer this dongle, which was up to forty percent faster than some of its other dongles.

It was revealed by officials that the dongle can also be rotated so that it points upwards in a vertical position. This will mean that it occupies less horizontal space, and according to officials from 3 it will “allow it to grab hold of our 3G network more easily”. This will provide further benefits for the users of the dongles, as they can enjoy increased convenience, greater reliability, and faster speeds.

The dongle is set to be available from this week and can be purchased online as well as in stores. For those that want the dongle on a pay as you go basis the cost will be just under seventy pounds and this will include 1GB of data. For existing customers there will be an opportunity to upgrade their existing dongle at a cost of sixty pounds. For those that are making a purchase of 15GB monthly package on a two year contract for £18.03 per month the dongle is free.
