I also have Vodafone, the mobile broadband usb "dongle" advertised as "rocketing" through the space. What a waste of my time and my money. Stuck in a worthless service that doesn't deliver not even poor donwload broadband speeds. Most of the time is just 2x o 3x faster than dialup. Oh yeah!!! and when you ask their customer services (and technical dept too) they always have a test or a stupid tweak to do to try and fix it. Hilarious really. It has been costlier for all the time wasted trying to sort it out. Don't bother.

I have a Vodaphone Connect card and the mobile broadband is fantastic. Faster than some home broadbands and has never let me down!

Been using 3 mobile broadband since christmas via a 3.5g phone on pay as you go connected to pc via usb. Very pleased. Getting about 1.2mb/s. That's quick enough for me, and it's consistent, reliable, and above all, portable.

I have "mobile broadband" It's the most dissapointing product I've ever had. Suits itself when it works ( or mostly doesn't). It often works at speeds less than dial up. I wish I nadn't bothered. I'm stuck with a £15 a month product that's inherantly faulty and had to take another home broadband deal to get regular broadband use.
