Leading mobile and fixed line broadband provider 02 has scooped a number of awards at the recent Internet Service Providers Association Awards, and is now celebrating being the only big name provider to enjoy this level of success at this year’s awards.
The broadband and communications giant O2 has enjoyed great success at the recent Internet Service Providers Association Awards, collecting a number of awards and making it one of the only major broadband providers to enjoy this level of success at the event, according to a recent report.
Amongst the awards that the communications and broadband provider collected were the best consumer fixed broadband award and the best consumer customer service award. When it came to awarding the best customer service award to O2 judges at the Internet Service providers Association Awards said that O2’s customer service level was “over and above that of other entrants”.
The broadband giant was named best consumer broadband operator due to its dedication to the security of users and the low level of complaints that it received over its services. To win this award O2 had to fight off a number of major broadband rivals such as Virgin Media, Be Unlimited, PlusNet, and Eclipse Internet.
Claranet won the best business fixed broadband internet service provider award, and the award for best consumer mobile broadband was awarded to another big name, which was Vodafone. However, according to reports the greatest success was still enjoyed by O2. The awards ceremony was held at the Grosvenor Marriott Hotel.
Other winners at this years Internet Service Providers Association Awards ceremony included Exa Networks for best dial up service, Namesco for best shared hosting, Astream for best streaming, and AQL for best Internet telephony.
