3G Internet
The term 3G Internet is used to describe access to the internet using the 3G mobile network through a mobile device like a mobile phone or PDA. 3G internet uses third generation technology (3G), which now allows people to access larger amounts of data at much higher speeds rivalling that of fixed line broadband.
How is 3G internet different from the regular internet?
When using 3G internet access you will be using it through devices that are smaller and more compact than regular desktop and laptop computers so the way 3G internet has been designed is with size in mind. You will also find that websites that are designed for use with 3G mobile internet access are simpler because of the way data is handled over mobile networks. The mobility factor of 3G internet means that it is suitable for anyone who needs access to the internet regularly when they are out and about. This ranges from business users who need the internet to prepare for business meetings or find the nearest hotel or conference centre to personal users who just need to check their mails or catch up on the latest news. In short the portability and ease of access to 3G mobile internet will fit the requirements of anyone doesn't want to be tied down by a fixed line internet connection and wants internet access wherever they are at any time of the day.
